Street View of Google may violate European laws on data protection.

The EU is concerned that the Google Street View may violate European laws on data protection. While it is American, the company must comply with local laws if it wants to run the service in Europe. Otherwise, sanctions will follow, promise from the EU. Street View allows users of Google Maps and Google Earth to do a virtual walk through the streets of 30 U.S. cities. Google recently launched a system for automatic detection and blurring of those people.
